Antique Sterling silver Tassel pendant

Gorgeous! Tassels are such a vibe I feel like they are a real old classic but some how feel modern and bring a boho vibe. Tassels in jewellery date from as early as 3000BC in Egyptian history they were seen as protective against evil spirits and they have been popular ever since. I love how they add movement to your neck stack and they are always so different. This one came from an Albertina chain which was a bit worse for wear, as we hate to scrap things unless absolutely necessary we saved as much of it as possible including this tassel which makes a fabulous pendant. I adore the rope chain giving some extra length and movement. She’s not 100% perfect with a missing tassel but she’s still stunning with lovely foxtail tassels and lots of lovely detailing. She’d look fab in a stack I especially love her in a mix metal stack. 

Hallmarks- none, but was on the original Albertina.

Measures- 6.4cm x8.5mm wide at the widest point 

This tassel is in fair condition, with one missing tassel and a missing ball at the end of a tassel, but these aren’t noticeable overall and I couldn’t scrap her she’s too gorgeous.
