Sterling Silver Shibayama bug locket

Lovely locket. This is such a cool locket, I love the shape with the curved rectangular shape then with the gorgeous little bugs it’s so very very cool. The bugs are Shibayama inlaid using mother of pearl and abalone shell, they then have engraved legs and antennas, so sweet. Shibayama is a Japanese technique of inlaying stone and shell to create images. Inside you have the opportunity to add 2 photos of loved ones.

This locket is in great condition, as with anything vintage there maybe signs of wear. It has been cleaned and polished.
