Edwardian 9ct gold open locket, 1904

Fantastic Edwardian 9ct gold 1904 open locket with a gorgeous eye catching rope detail. Currently housing a vintage photo under a glass face. The face is nice and secure but can easily be removed without the help of a jeweller to place an image of your choosing or because of the depth within the locket this could be a perfect place to showcase precious loose gems or gold flakes.

Hallmarks - 375 for 9ct gold, Anchor for assayed in Birmingham and an E for 1904, maker mark D&M

Measurements - 2.8cm drop (from bail) x 2.1cm wide

The locket is in great condition but please note that the picture shows cracks, these cracks are in the old photo and not the glass face. Also on the lower part of the front frame there is a slight dent this can be seen on inspection of our photos but I believe this does not detract from the beauty of this item. As with anything vintage there maybe signs of wear. It has been cleaned and polished.
