Antique Sterling Silver Trombone Albert chain with fob, 1886

Love a trombone!

This is a lovely silver trombone Albert chain, gorgeous thick links, a lovely twisted t-bar and a spinner fob. Every link is stamped so you know it’s a quality chain. The twisted t-bar is such a pretty addition and the spinner fob with carnelian and blood stone look fabulous. Looks so good as part of a mixed metal stack, as seen in the worn photo, I am wearing it with an extender in that picture.

Hallmarks- every link stamped with a lion for sterling silver, M=1886, WWC makers mark. On fob- worn hallmarks, GEW makers mark, O= 1888. Dogclip- HB&S makers mark, Sterling.

Weighs- 47.91g

Measures- 13.5inches x 7.8mm wide

This chain is in good condition, especially when you consider it’s 139years old! As with anything antique there maybe signs of wear. It has been cleaned and polished sympathetically.
