Antique Scarab beetle pin brooch

Amazing Edwardian scarab Beetle Pin Brooch. These scarab beetles can be so hard to find, this one has the coveted green colour to it and is slightly iridescent in the light. As with a lot of these scarab beetle brooches from this era this one is mounted in Brass. So if you love your Egyptian revival pieces this would be a fab addition, it could be kept as a brooch or maybe take it off and put it on a ring or turn it into a pendant?

This is in good condition. The scarab beetle moves slightly in its mount but it is still securely attached with the claws keeping it attached. It has been cleaned and polished.
