Antique 9ct Gold with silver setting Turquoise Bombe ring

Wow wow wow! I always love bombe rings, but they are hard to find and to find one with one of my favourite gemstones makes it extra special. Why do I love bombe rings, well I think the round domed shape is a very cool stand out statement piece, they started to be seen during the Edwardian era but became a popular choice during the 20s as the design felt very anti Victorian, this one was made during 1917/18. I love how it’s studded with varying colours of turquoise from bright blue to green and it’s paired with a lovely rose gold band. As is common during these eras the setting is made from silver. It’ll make an a song statement piece in your jewellery collection.

Measures- 1.7cm diameter

This ring is in good condition, looks to have been resized at some point in its 109years and I think one turquoise stone has been replaced. There some wear to the stones but all this is very hard to see and to be expected with an old ring and adds to the beauty I think. It has been cleaned and polished.
