Antique 9ct Gold Bezel set Moonstone necklace

A Dream find for me. I have a list of pieces which I dream of one day finding and this was one of them. So I couldn’t be happier to be offering you this one. A moonstone is just so dreamy so a whole gang of them is epic! This is a superb long moonstone necklace amazing to wear on its own or to add to a stack (which I have been doing, I mean I have to test everything right?) The graduation and the mix of shapes and cuts is stunning, a mix of sugarloaf cut and flat cut and either round or oval. It makes the whole necklace just so much more interesting. That ethereal blue flash is divine. I love the bezel setting, they are so fine and really allow the moonstones to sing. The Victorians loved a moonstone as they saw that blue flash like the light of the moon (hence the name) and linked it to femininity and romance.

This necklace is in good condition, theres some minimal wear to the stones and bezels, but really isn’t much at all, commensurate with age. It has been cleaned and polished.
