Antique 18ct Gold two headed snake ring with diamonds, 1817

Beautiful Snake ring. This Snake ring is stunning, it is a two headed snake with a coil band which gives it such character. Both heads have a star set diamonds in them, which adds some sparkle to the ring. Snakes are symbols of eternity and were often used as a gift to a loved one, Queen Victorias engagement ring was a snake ring. So it’s a fabulous addition to anyone’s antique jewellery collection.

This ring is in great condition especially when you consider its 207 years old!! As with anything antique there maybe signs of wear. It has been cleaned and polished.
