14ct faience scarab beetle pendant

Scarab pendants have been popular for centuries especially by the Egyptians who would adorn their dead with scarabs to protect them and help them travel to the after life. It became very popular once again during the 1920s with Egyptian revival jewellery. Once more people are enjoying wearing scarabs as they represent good luck, rebirth and protection. This lovely carved scarab has a lovely green blue hue with hieroglyphics carved into the back. It has been set into 14ct rose gold. It will look fab in anyone’s jewellery collection and hopefully bring you some luck.

Measures- 2.5cm x 1.1cm wide

This pendant is in good condition, the bezel setting has a few minor dings but nothing major. It has been cleaned and polished.
