9ct Sputnik charm

Adorable Sputnik. I am such a fan of these funky charms, I’ve been lucky enough to source a few different ones. This one has that classic look, covered in turquoise, pearl and paste stones. They were first made in the late 50s and 60s created to resemble the Sputnik satellite which started the space race. I just love their orb shape covered in coloured stones. They are invariably in higher carat gold so to find a 9ct version is fab as it’s much more pocket friendly.

Weighs- 2.31g

Measures- 1.8cm drop x 1.3cm diameter.

This charm is in good condition, as with anything vintage there maybe signs of wear. It has been cleaned and polished.
